You need to know your LDF (Local Development Framework) from your RSS (regional Spatial Strategy) and your DPDPD’s (Development Policies Development Plan Document) from your SCI (Statement of Community Involvement).

Case Studies

In Scarborough, we have been project managing a major development scheme for almost 15 years, leading a multi disciplined team that has secured the allocation of over three farms, covering over 350 acres, for development which is now moving forward to realisation.

We are acting for a number of clients who are promoting sites for residential development through the Local Development Framework process. We are ensuring that the proposals address issues set out in Government Policy Statements, so that our client can meet the key criteria, demonstrating that their sites are available, suitable and achievable.

We have saved a number of clients the time and cost of pursuing a planning appeal, but showing how their proposals for the development of a site could be reworked to secure consent directly from the Local Planning Authority, whilst still achieving a scheme of similar value.
