Coatham Enclosure, Redcar
Coatham Links is Redcar and Cleveland’s flagship scheme for the regeneration of Redcar. Masterplanned and designed by P+HS, it will deliver a new Leisure Complex with swimming pool and bowling alley, a Visitor Centre with cinemas, performance and exhibition spaces, and a viewing platform.
Together with other leisure facilities planned for the scheme, these will create a new tourist destination for the town. With construction due to start in April 2007, the project is being developed in partnership with Persimmon, who will build 200 sea front apartments and 140 family homes planned as an urban extension around a series of linked squares.
