Alma Street Medical Centre
Development of new medical centres with specialist developers is an important part of the practice’s wider involvement in high quality primary care schemes. The requirements of the NHS and the District Valuer are quite specific and we have a thorough understanding of these standards, providing specialist training, not only in design standards, but in the intricacies of leases and development funding to our staff. In this way we are best placed to advise developers and create exciting, efficient buildings which are great to work in and provide very good value for money.
Illustrated here is the new medical centre for Dr McGowan and Partners in Stockton, developed by Abstract Integrated Healthcare Limited and handed over to the doctors in August 2004. This is the second building for Abstract, with a number of others in the pipeline. This new centre is around 3 times the size of the previous premises and provides all the practice needs to deliver the very best in medical care.
