New Board Appointments at P+HS Architects

P+HS Architects has appointed James Palmer and Adrian Taylor to its board of directors.

James Palmer joined the practice as Senior Architect in 2006 having previously worked in London and Leeds for over ten years on residential and mixed-use schemes. Since 2006 James has been involved in the development of mixed use schemes throughout the North of England, specialising in large scale masterplanning and residential projects. James also brings to the Practice listed building and conservation expertise.

James commented “I am excited to be joining the board at P+HS, we have a vibrant team of people working with us and I’m looking forward helping to grow our presence in Leeds and specifically our residential portfolio’’.

Adrian Taylor has been with P+HS since 1999, becoming an Associate in 2003. Adrian has been responsible for a wide range of technically demanding projects including the award winning Malpas Road Surgery, Northallerton, which is featured on the NHS Estates ‘The Healthcare Environment’. He is currently leading the team working on the prestigious Regional Agricultural Centre on the site of the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.

Adrian commented “I am relishing the strategic challenges ahead and am looking forward to enhancing our position as a market leader in the procurement of first class health care and commercial facilities’’.

The promotions of both Adrian and James at P+HS coincide with a major milestone for the practice. Chris Potter, Managing Director at P+HS commented, “We are delighted to welcome James and Adrian to the board at P+HS. This is an important strategic step as P+HS enters its 25th year and is part of our planned succession as the Practice moves into its second generation.”
