Friarage Healing Arts Donation

29 Oct 2006

P+HS is pleased to donate £5,000 to the Healing Arts Fund at the Friarage Hospital Northallerton. The charitable fund is designed to improve the patient experienece through the use of artwork and builds on the success of the Trust’s similar fund at James Cook University Hospital.

Interserve, the main contactor, donated a similar amount.

The Friarage Hospital contract provided a whole new range of services including paediatric inpatient and outpatient services, womens health unit, pathology, pharmacy, new hospital street and refurbished main entrance. A new energy centre completed this first phase of the hospital development.

The contract was let under the NHS’s framework arrangement, ProCure 21 and was the first project under the national role out of this successful framework venture.

The project was completed on time, and under budget.
