Stokesley
Our office in Stokesley is the former railway station and platform buildings, which we bought in 1987. Initially we occupied the converted station master’s house, converting the platform buildings to workshop units which were let out to related businesses. As our practice grew we gradually reclaimed the workshops and incorporated them into the office. In 2003 we extended our Stokesley office to provide additional studio space, meeting rooms, dedicated resource base for plan printing, plotting, copying and binding, better refreshment facilities (including a brilliant espresso machine!) whilst at the same time upgrading the accessibility of the office in line with current standards.
The interior was refurbished and purpose-made furniture installed throughout in birch plywood and maple, supplied by Design in Wood.
